Sushi Tower is an idle restaurant game published by Meeko Studios. This policy explains what the app collects, who it goes to, and what you can do about it.
Your game progress stays on your phone. The app shows ads, and the ad network sees your device’s advertising ID unless you tell it not to. The app can also send anonymous gameplay statistics — how far up the tower people get, which upgrades they buy — that are not tied to you or to your device.
Your tower, your coins, your gems, your upgrades, your settings and whether you have bought anything are stored in a file on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, are not backed up to us, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Sushi Tower is built to send anonymous gameplay events to our own server so we can tell whether the game is too slow, where people stop playing, and whether anything is broken. These events describe the game, not you:
These events carry a session identifier that is a random number, created when you start playing and forgotten after 30 minutes of inactivity. They do not carry your advertising ID, your device ID, your name, your email, your location or your IP address as an identifier. There is no account and nothing to log in to, so there is nothing here that identifies you and consequently nothing we could look up, export or delete if you asked us to.
Today, none of this is sent anywhere. The collection endpoint is not configured in the released app, so these events are recorded in memory on your own device and discarded when you close the game. If that changes, it changes in a new version of the app, and the date at the top of this policy changes with it.
Sushi Tower is free and is paid for by ads, served by Google AdMob. Google receives, and processes under its own privacy policy:
Google uses this to choose which ads to show and to detect fraud. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your choice. Where the law requires it — the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — you are asked, when you first open the game, whether ads may be personalised using your advertising ID. The dialog is Google’s own consent form.
You can change your mind at any time from your device’s settings, where you can also reset or delete your advertising ID entirely (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices).
Rewarded videos — the ones you choose to watch to double your money, speed up a build, or take a boost — are always optional. Nothing in this game is locked behind one, and there is no banner advertising anywhere in it.
Sushi Tower offers three in-app purchases: “Remove ads”, and two packs of gems. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your payment details. Google tells the app what has been bought, and the app remembers that locally.
“Remove ads” removes the occasional full-screen ad shown when you close the shop or the map. Rewarded videos remain available — they are the ones you choose to watch in exchange for something, and removing them would take a feature away rather than give one. The purchase screen says so in those words before you buy.
The two gem packs are consumable: you can buy the same pack again. Gems are spent inside the game on cosmetic items and on skipping build timers. They cannot be exchanged for money or for anything outside the game, and nothing in the game gambles them.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms.
Sushi Tower is not directed at children and is rated for ages 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
Gameplay events, if and when they are collected, are kept for 12 months and then deleted. Ad data is retained by Google under its own policy.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change will be announced in the app’s store listing.
